Honey Lake is an endorheic sink within the Honey Lake Valley〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.dpla2.water.ca.gov/publications/groundwater/bulletin118/basins/pdfs_desc/6-4.pdf )〕 located in northeastern California, near the Nevada border. Summer evaporation reduces the lake to a lower level of and creates an alkali flat. Honey Lake recreational activities include bird-watching, picnicking, hiking, camping, warm-water fishing, and waterfowl hunting.
